Crafting with Tha Homies with The Blk Craftsroom
Crafting with Tha Homies is a three-part workshop series offering a midday break to slow down and make something by hand. Each month, we’ll dig into a different practice—handmade incense, printmaking, and decoupage—that blends art, culture, and care. Come as you are, leave with something you made.
Monthly at Sip & Sonder Inglewood for 4Q 2025.

Damn That Smell Good!
Handmade Incense Workshop
Incense has been burned for centuries in rituals, ceremonies, and everyday life. We’ll kick things off with a brief history of incense-making, then dive into crafting blends from herbs and resins. Participants will roll and shape their own incense, leaving with sticks and cones ready to burn at home.

Issa Block Party
Intro to Linocut Printmaking
For centuries, block printing has been used to spread images, stories, and designs. In this workshop, we’ll tap into that tradition through linocut printmaking—carving blocks into stamps and bringing them to life with ink. Participants can choose to print their own wrapping paper or a set of holiday cards, leaving with handmade works that carry both history and personal style.
Session 03

Draped Up & Dripped Out
Decoupage Workshop
Across cultures, paper and pattern have been used to transform everyday objects into keepsakes. We’ll open with a brief history of decoupage before layering cutouts, colors, and textures onto ornaments, sealing them with shine and detail. Everyone will leave with a custom ornament set—perfect to keep or for gifting.
