Camp Frequency with Black Women Spin

Camp Frequency is an immersive experience for Black women DJs, producers and music lovers. This donation-based DJ camp blends hands-on DJ lessons, music history classes, a networking mixer/DJ set, and music swap sessions. More than skill-building, it’s a space to celebrate Black music, foster community, and amplify voices that are reshaping the culture. Here, every beat, every mix, and every connection contributes to a stronger, more empowered music community.

Monthly at Sip & Sonder Inglewood for 4Q 2025.

about black women spin

Black Women Spin exists to amplify, empower, and connect Black women DJs across the globe. Our mission is to create visibility for a community that makes up less than 1% of the music industry, while breaking barriers and shifting the culture. Through curated events, career opportunities, mentorship, and storytelling, we showcase the artistry and innovation of Black women behind the decks. We believe in building a sustainable platform that not only celebrates our talent, but also ensures our presence is seen, heard, and valued in every space where music lives.
